As a lover of music, I appreciate the instrument equally as much as the player of it. I photographed my favorite instrument, the piano. Trying to grasp its stylish, simplistic complexity, I shot this short series with my Olympus Pen FT, ‘half frame’ camera and Ilford HP5 black and white film. The images were made using a style called Diptychs, shooting two consecutive, complimentary images to create one final photo.
